The vaccine-scheduling system sent me a message that the clinic I selected is going to be closed on August 1st (but they didn't know this yesterday??), and that my appointment had been cancelled.

I went to rebook, fuming about being pushed to the back of the line...and discovered some open slots on July 20th, at a clinic that definitely did not have them before.

I guess we'll see if I get to keep this one.

Summarised here: Wow this seems like a really frustrating system but I guess they have to allocate resources *somehow* and this is just really bad and not the literal worst? Good luck getting the dose!
