Anniversary
Dec. 6th, 2019 05:16 pmAs of today, I've been blogging here for one year.
I never used to think I'd be able to handle the OP focus of a site like Dreamwidth, having to start conversations myself all the time, but here I am writing my 155th post. I've had a lot more to say than I once thought. It's good to see that I've grown.
(Though it helped a *lot* that I already had a readership when I started: I was never just shouting into the void here. You guys have been a great encouragement: thank you.)
Last month I...well, Dreamwidth would say I "purchased a paid membership". I prefer to frame it as having given them a USD$35 donation, and accepted the thank-you gifts they offered me in return. A couple of the paid-membership features are mildly beneficial, but I wouldn't have paid for them alone: I simply wanted to help support the platform that has become my home.
