Had to wait in virtual line for 3 hours and 40 minutes and wrestle with an appointment-booking system that appears--unfathomably--to have been designed around plentiful slot availability (*first* it asks you where and when you want your appointment to be, *then* it tells you whether anything is available for that: it cannot handle "look, I have no strong opinions about where my vaccination takes place or precisely what day it takes place on, just tell me how quickly you can get me in"), but in the end I managed to cut a month off of my waiting period: my appointment is now at the beginning of August rather than the beginning of September.
I have approximately no idea what my work schedule will be then or even where I will be working, which made it difficult to select a day of the week. I ended up with a Sunday even though I currently work Sundays: I know I can convince Meta-Boss to give me the day off if I'm still there, whereas a new boss at a Monday - Friday job could be more rigid.
