brin_bellwayUnexpected benefit of alarm-clock testing: now that I've started actually *picking up* the spare smartphone on a regular basis rather than just leaving it on a table all the time, I've noticed that its battery is swollen.
I have carefully placed the battery on the dead-battery shelf for later recycling. Fortunately my brother used to have a phone of the same model, so we were able to salvage a replacement battery out of that.
