I like that my laptop's power cord has a blue glowing ring near the tip, to make it easier to find if it falls out (or is deliberately sitting disconnected) in the dark. A small thing that makes life just that little bit easier, and shows careful thought put into the design.

Ah, whereas *my* power cord simply has a very bright blue glowing thing in the middle. Which lights up my room in the middle of the night and is annoying. (some level of power indicator is useful so I don't need to check if my laptop is charging to see if power is working, which is esp useful in e.g. the uni library, which has famously high-demand and hit-and-miss power-sockets, so being able to test them without getting everything out is vital. But that's beside the point. I wish my cord was as sensible as yours)
