1. What did you eat on Thursday?

A pretty normal spread for us: couple bites of turkey, cheesy cauliflower casserole (with an extra layer of shredded cheese on top because Mom grated way too much; Mom thinks it actually turned out better that way, while I think it was worse-but-only-barely), mashed potatoes, corn, apple cider, cranberry jelly, pumpkin pie, challah roll with butter. Plus some of the usual things like a fibre bar and some peanut butter.

2. How many miles (kilometers) did you drive on Thursday?

I didn't, and neither did my dad.

3. How many relatives did you see on Thursday?

It was just the three of us for Thanksgiving. We don't normally invite anyone over, and Brother had work.

4. What did you wear on Thursday?

A ragged light blue turtleneck suitable only for hanging out at home, and an actually-not-ragged pair of grey sweatpants because the beat-up ones were all in the wash.

5. Are you planning to buy anything in particular on Friday?

I have been procrastinating on buying spare filters for my new respirator: I didn't buy any spares initially because I wasn't sure yet if I was going to end up using this mask routinely, but it turns out that I am (and so I should arrange to not be screwed if it gets wet in a way the splash guard can't handle). They are not on sale today. It's homeowner's-insurance season. I may continue to procrastinate.

On a similar note, though, I *did* recently buy a bunch of KF94s at 70% off (for my parents and for [future mes who need to abide by office dress codes]). I think probably what happened was that their Canadian distributor was expecting demand for masks to drop less than it did, got caught with a bunch of excess stock in their warehouses, and is now trying to dump them. (Yes, I *was* suspicious of a discount that large, but to be fair this *is* the site the manufacturer directs you to if you ask them where to buy it. For however much it's worth, the expiration dates of the masks I received are in early 2025, which is a shorter shelf life *relative to purchase date* than my previous KF94 orders but still substantial.)
