[cw: nsfw text, (arguably) illness]
Fun fact: I first encountered the verb "to come" in the sense of "to orgasm" in a PSA comic from the 1980s about AIDS prevention. I was sixteen and, while I had never sought out pornography, it wasn't like I hadn't been around the block on the Internet: quite reasonably, I assumed that the reason I'd never heard the term before was because it was outdated slang.
I later learned that it was in fact still in active use, but it took me years before I could encounter people using it without at least a *little* part of me double-taking: it was like hearing people unironically call something "groovy".
