[cw: corporate bullshit]
(part 2)
---
After a combination of haggling and downgrading (we don't watch as many videos as we used to (well, I say "watch"); uploads to my offsite backup do take longer now, but overall the drop to a lower speed tier has been pretty pain-free), I've knocked our total monthly Rogers payment down to $67.79.
And it's a good thing I decided in advance that I was going to write this update once I'd seen exactly how many cents they were going to charge us after all the fees were said and done, because it meant I caught on fairly quickly that the changeover process had quietly cancelled our automatic billing. Not *quite* quickly enough to avoid late fees, but it looks to have only been $2: a setup fee well worth paying to save $36.16/month for the next year. (After that I'll have to haggle with them again.)
