Me, someone who has been under the impression that this song was about an unhealthy on-again-off-again romantic relationship for like a decade: ...is this one of *those* fucking takes? the completely off-the-wall ones? Is this even, like, canon, or did some rando put this on here?
Me, poking around for canonical takes: [can't find anything perfectly fitting the category "canonical take", but evidence does kind of seem to lean that way]
Me: ...okay, so, I *guess* that would make more sense of the verses, but it doesn't fit the chorus at *all*.
