1. While most of the grocery patrons were maskless, I was not the only person this week wearing an elastomeric. He had one of those newfangled low-profile ones. We nodded at each other as we passed.
2. At the checkout, I was in line behind a wailing toddler, who was then distracted from her upsetness by how interesting I looked. When I saw her staring at me, I waved and started bobbing my head to the music.
