I felt an urge to draw last night, which is not something that happens to me much lately. I didn't have time that night with New Year celebrations, but it was even stronger this morning, and I figured I should go with it. I thought I'd share the results with you.

[cut for length and images: about 5.5 MB worth, if you're deciding whether to use metered data on it]

(while either alone will suffice in a pinch, for best results I recommend looking at the pictures *and* reading the alt-text)

A pencil sketch of a remote control for an autonomous vacuum cleaner. It has a screen similar to a digital dumbwatch: the screen shows the time (11:24 AM) and a house-like symbol. There are buttons to control the fan strength, direction of travel, wander algorithm, and scheduling. At the bottom is the manufacturer's logo: a stylised 'Eufy'.

I'm surprisingly good at copying things I can see, given how little I draw.

A crudely drawn pencil sketch of a humanoid. She's supposed to look draconic, with scales, wings (darker on top, fading lighter towards the bottom), and horns, but the actual effect looks more insectoid. She's wearing a dress with see-through sleeves and speckled with gemstones, leggings, boots, and a half-face elastomeric respirator likewise speckled with gemstones.

I'm *really* not skilled enough to depict Foresight's fabulousness, though. At least I captured her sensibleness in the face of an alien atmosphere containing heaven knows what.

A pencil sketch of a large pair of glasses, from the perspective of someone about to put them on. The earpieces disappear off the edge of the paper.

A pencil sketch of a Casio digital dumbwatch. The screen says it is Saturday the 1st at 11:53:57. The wristband is made of linked metal segments.

A pencil sketch of an Eoqo Cube mini audio recorder. It is attached to a thin necklace chain: the chain disappears off the edges of the sketch. The chain is strung through a fluffy white cloth backdrop, so that the attachment point will not rest directly on the skin.

A pencil sketch of a half-face elastomeric respirator, angled slightly upward. Its valve is taped over with plaid cloth. It has pancake-style filters attached: the filters have '3M 2097 P100' written on them.

Sketches of some of my augmentations. The Glorious Transhumanist Future is already here: it's just not evenly distributed.
