I have an exam in an hour
[fairly mild cw: what it says on the tin]
I'm going to need to specifically practise waking up *early* to my new alarm clock: apparently my brain doesn't trust it yet.
*sigh* Oh well. Outside view says I've done plenty of exams on this quality of sleep and always been fine. And since I'm running a 93% average right now, all I really have to do is not go I-am-a-fish to have a decent overall grade.

I'll let you know when the grade comes in. It's definitely not perfect--it took me just about the whole three hours to get the first draft done, so I didn't have time to figure out why a couple of the numbers weren't adding up--but I will be *extremely* surprised if it isn't Good Enough.
(While there's always *some* level of exam nerves, it's a lot easier with math-y exams like this one (intermediate financial accounting) because it's easier to predict what my grade is going to be. I never feel like I have a good sense of what my grade is likely to be on a writing exam.)
And then, rather than go to my *customary* post-exam bakery, I went to a *different* bakery to claim the free muffin I won in a contest a few weeks ago. :D

(And I hope the muffin was tasty!)
