(right, I don't think I mentioned Dad got vaccinated: he took the cost-benefit-juggling deal where people 55+ (now 40+) can skip the line if they agree to accept AstraZeneca. last I heard the chances of a man getting a blood clot from it are somewhere in the ballpark of one in a million, so it's a very reasonable trade. no issues yet.)

And yes, they literally did this on the exact day I start hunting for a non-essential job. But I am still working at a restaurant for now, and given that it's looking like I actually deserve a place in the "at-risk immune conditions" category, I feel no shame in taking anything I can get even if it's on a technicality.
