~10 breaths/minute * ~90 minutes = ~900 breaths

9 unfiltered outdoor breaths = a mild-but-noticeable sore throat, maybe a sniffle or two

OTOH, look at it this way: it could have been literally a hundred times worse. Also, it looks like after the workweek ends I'll probably have some good opportunities to finally test the effectiveness of desloratadine on my condition.
