did you know for a while france had their own... not technically speaking "separate internet", but something sort of like it? (minitel)

Oh yeah, teletype machines! If I'd known you'd be interested I would have told you! Reading as much midcentury teen lit as I did growing up, teletype was just sort of part of the scenery.
