Thinking today about that one Buffy episode where the fast-food restaurant's shameful secret is that their burgers are made mostly of veggies with some beef fat for flavour, and how weird it is in hindsight.
Like, guys, you're in fucking *California* of all places! Call them "flexitarian burgers" and sell them for shitloads of money!
At my local grocery store (which *isn't even Californian*), some of the pre-formed burger patties *brag* about being only 50% meat. And you've gotten it down to, what, 20%? 30%? While being *indistinguishable* from 100%-meat burgers (since otherwise you wouldn't have been able to keep up the charade)?
That is *not* a shameful secret! That is a point of *pride*, right there! Get out there and start the reducetarian revolution twenty years early!
