This post brought to you by a dream I had last night in which a (magical) attempt to suppress my knowledge of what was actually going on only partially worked and left me instead compelled to pretend I didn't know, and probably also brought to you by hormones.

At one point in this post, I use both of the disgust triggers ("take" and "often") right next to each other. This was not (consciously?) intentional, but it's interesting that it worked out that way.

(Upon realising this, I went back and rephrased the bit about social circles with high rates of hypno-fetishism to avoid the word "often": I did not want anyone performing disgust-and-therefore-immorality about that even as a joke, given why I came to Dreamwidth in the first place.)
