[Bloomberg; Wayback] (by Matt Levine) I *like* Matt Levine's stuff, but every time he treats "should index funds be illegal?" as if it's a hypothetical and somewhat laughable question, and especially here where he is idly interested in the thought of *maybe* *someday* structuring tax incentives to favour active investing over passive, I feel actual physical pain.
